Augsburger Bock brewed for spring

With the approach of the bock season, the Stroh Brewery Co., maker of Augsburger beer, recently announced the return of Augsburger Bock.

According to the brewery, the bock will be available for a limited time - February through April - in non-returnable bottles.

Augsburger Bock will offer the same tradition of the beer's Bavarian roots, said a Stroh spokesperson, utilizing quality hops and barley. The beer is also aged over a long period to "capture the full flavor of the style."

"Augsburger Bock will appeal to those consumers looking for an extraordinary, full-bodied beer," said Richard Burnes, associate brand manager for the Augsburger brand. "Augsburger Bock is aged longer and those who sample the brand will quickly learn that it was worth the wait."
