Auditions give chance to be on The Voice.
AUDITIONS for The Voice will hit South Wales later this month ahead of the show returning for its ninth series.
The people behind the show are hoping to find the next singing star just up the road from the birthplace of Valleys legend Tom Jones, and previous contestant Liza Baker who helped organise the auditions.
ITV approached Liza to arrange the auditions, which will be held at the Heritage Park Hotel, Trehafod, on March 15.
Liza said: "When ITV approached me I jumped at the chance, you don't turn down something like that, do you? "And I think it's such a positive to have it here."
She added: "I just want anyone to have a go."
Successful applicants could end up on the show in 2019.
Liza took part in series one of BBC One's The Voice in 2012 getting down to the last 100 to perform a blind audition in front of Tom Jones, Jessie J, will-i-am and Danny O'Donoghue.
To take part in the audition showcase singers must first email the organisers including their name, full address and a clip of their singing.
Organisers said that audition spaces are limited and urged people to apply as soon as possible.
Tickets to be in the audience are priced at PS5.50 each.
Tickets will entitle people to attend either the early session, between 11am and 2.30pm or the later session, between 3.30pm and 7pm.
Each session will showcase around 30 contestants.
Members of The Voice ITV team will be in attendance on the day. | |Singers thinking of auditioning are asked to email Liza beforehand at email@example.com
