Audience told to calm before Fifty Shades.

Byline: ALAN WESTON

A SHOCKED cinema boss had to intervene twice to calm down unruly women at a Fifty Shades Freed screening.

He had to plead with the mainly female audience, some of whom had brought their own booze into the Liverpool cinema.

Radio City's Leanne Campbell told her breakfast show listeners yesterday when she went to see the film, the house lights were brought up twice before it even began.

She said the audience was then lectured by a distraught cinema boss whose face was "beetroot" as he "stormed up and down the aisle".

Not a fan, Ms Campbell said: "I could have written something racier on the back of an envelope."
