Auction to help health charities.

A CHARITY auction taking place in Aberdare hopes to raise money for the Brittle Bone Society and the Merthyr and Cynon Breathe Easy Group.

A dress Worn By Kylie Platt in Coronation Street, a football signed by Manchester United players and a rugby ball signed by the 2005 Welsh Grand Slam squad are up for grabs.

Richard Jones, chief executive of disability fundraising group Accessible News, said: "We have held several small events to date and are hoping to raise PS1,000 - PS500 for both charities by the end of the year."

The auction, hosted by TV and radio personality Roy Noble, will take place at Abercynon rugby Club on November 21.
