Versata Customers Gain More Integration

Options for Databases and Legacy Systems

Attunity Ltd. (formerly International Software Group Ltd., d/b/a Attunity Ltd.), (NASDAQ:SISG), a global provider of eBusiness and B2B integration solutions, today announced an agreement with Versata, Inc. (NASDAQ: VATA), a leading provider of software and services that automate the development, deployment and change management of transaction-based eBusiness applications.

Under the cooperative-marketing agreement, Versata will help corporations undertaking B2B initiatives to leverage the significant investments that they have in their legacy applications and data sources by using Attunity Connect(TM) software.

Enterprises use Attunity Connect to integrate disparate applications and data with each other and eBusiness applications. Through standard interfaces, Attunity Connect enables bi-directional integration between applications and relational and non-relational data sources. Embedded XML support gives organizations an even more open, flexible, and compatible way to incorporate IT resources in eBusiness solutions.

Attunity Connect(TM) provides Versata's customers connectivity with a multitude of legacy data sources, thereby offering more options for integration with legacy, mainframe and proprietary data stores. Global 2000 customers are now able to integrate their Versata-based eBusiness applications with legacy data sources, such as ADABAS, Btrieve, CISAM, Text Files, DISAM, ENSCRIBE, Flat Files, IMS, Ingres, MUMPS, OLE DB, RdbSQL, Red Brick Warehouse, SQL/MP, RMS and VSAM.

"Many companies are in the same boat; they need to decide how to salvage what are often multi-million-dollar investments in IT systems and reuse databases and systems where possible," said Jennifer Johnson, Senior Director of Product Marketing at Versata. "Attunity provides solutions for leveraging assets. By offering customers a solution that couples both Attunity's and Versata's technology, we enable customers to more easily move their eBusinesses forward. This partnership is part of Versata's overall plan to develop an ecosystem of partnerships that provide products and services to enable Global 2000 to make the most of their current assets."

"Attunity Connect eBusiness infrastructure software enables companies to integrate disparate information from their customers, partners and suppliers," said Arie Gonen, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Attunity. "It enables businesses to integrate applications, business processes and information across entities that make up a B2B business value chain. By working with Versata, we are extending the reach of Attunity Connect to more customers."
