With a tilting head that combines a slightly arrogant posture with one that also says, "I'm a little nervous," the Dakota Xtreme Jake from Best Turkey Decoy offers the kind of body language that will pull in the big boys looking to protect their turf. Working from an ultra-realistic carving by master carver Dave Constantineto, the manufacturers then partnered with Bill Willroth from Dakota Decoys to create a decoy that is not only realistic, but also extremely durable.

New from Code Blue, Rack Rub Licking Branch Gel is a fantastic curiosity attractant designed to give hunters an edge in the early season when bucks are working scrapes. To mark their territory, bucks deposit forehead gland and pre-orbital scent on low-hanging "licking" branches over scrapes. Using Rack Rub Licking Branch Gel, which is available in 2-ounce bottles, on branches above scrapes and on antler-rubbed trees, represents an infringement on a buck's territory and is sure to bring the area's dominant buck in looking to run the intruder off his turf.

Combining three of Fairchase Products' popular Nose Jammer products, the Nose Jammer Pro-Pack offers hunters an efficient and cost-effective way to put Nose Jammer's "olfactory nerve overload" science system to work. The Pro-Pack includes four products: shampoo and body wash, laundry detergent, deodorant and field spray. The shampoo and body wash comes in a 16-ounce bottle and includes no toxins or aluminums. The deodorant stick is likewise gentle on the skin. The detergent contains no UV brighteners and is also free from toxins or aluminum. The detergent includes the same organic compounds, including vanillin, that are naturally emitted from plants and shrubs. Delivering the scent at concentrated levels overwhelms the quarry's sense of smell and provides a big hunting advantage.

A Skin Solution
Humans constantly shed skin cells, and those cells are a constant source of alarm to wildlife. By lubricating the skin, INVISIB-OIL significantly reduces the loss of those dry skin cells and therefore reduces the risk of alerting scent-conscious wildlife. INVISIB-OIL relies on the same time-tested technique used by Native Americans, who used bear grease to lubricate their skin and to increase their hunting success, which was critical to their survival. The all-natural INVISB-01L, which is available in a 2-ounce spray bottle, is infused with a light fragrance designed to mimic a hunter's natural surroundings and to help them remain undetected.
Hot on the Trail
When working in a candle factory, Hot Trails founder Bill Moore thought about how scented candles continued to put out strong aromas whether lit or not. Moore created a candle using a Doe in Heat scent and the Hot Trails Scented Hunting Candle was born. The scent from the burning candle can travel up to 500 yards and each candle can last for more than five hours. Including a package of Scented Hunting Candles and a Mini Lantern, the Hot Trails starter kit includes everything a hunter needs to get started with this dynamite scent dispersal system.

It is well known that gobblers are always trying to establish dominance over their rivals, which is why gobblers sometimes kick a buddy when he's down--jumping on a fellow gobbler after that bird has been shot. Jay Gregory modified the popular Killer B decoy from Primos to imitate a gobbler that had been wounded, and the decoy worked. Primos took the cue and started developing a wounded gobbler decoy, and the result is the Dirty B, which becomes an injured gobbler with just the pull of a handle. It may be a dirty trick, but it works!

Whitetail hunters have long been using grunt calls to fool bucks with lots of "bone" on their heads. Knight & Hale has responded to hunters' bone obsession with a unique new grunt call, Da' Bone. The call looks like it is made from a piece of antler, but is actually constructed of soft and pliable material so it doesn't make unwanted noise by knocking into metal in the stand. Most importantly, Da' Bone makes extremely realistic grunt calls that will call in big bucks.

Decoys can be an extremely effective tool when moose hunting, but lugging around a full-bodied moose decoy clearly is not practical. Enter the new Moose II decoy from Montana Decoy. Like all Montana decoys, the Moose II was created from an actual photo of a moose in the wild. Based on hunter feedback, designers at Montana Decoy created a decoy that was slightly darker than the original Moose, and also presents more of a broadside appearance. The decoy features a lightweight fabric cover over a foldable spring frame to create a two-dimensional decoy that, while ex-Temely lifelike, is also very compact and portable. While the decoy stands an impressive 66 inches high, it weighs just 40 ounces.
