Atlantic Fund Services Ranked #1 for Fund Accounting in Global Custodian Survey.

PORTLAND, Maine -- Atlantic Fund Services announced that its fund accounting services ranked first in Global Custodian's 2011 Mutual Fund Administration Survey and that the company ranked second overall in North America. Global Custodian noted that Atlantic Fund Services has made an "impressive debut," and that Atlantic's "exceptional score for fund accounting (easily the best in the survey) suggests competitive pricing is not purchased at the expense of quality."

"We are pleased with these results, which offer convincing proof that our clients value our high quality and responsive service," said John Y. Keffer, Atlantic's Chairman. "This demonstrates that, as an independent provider who delivers consistently superior service, we offer the market a flexible and compelling solution for third party fund administration."

Atlantic Fund Services received 54 Best in Class stars. These are awarded for excellence in servicing clients of different sizes, types and locations. Atlantic also received the Commended designation in eleven categories relating to its fund administration, fund accounting, transfer agency, distribution and compliance capabilities. Atlantic would have received the Top Rated designation for nine of those categories if not for the survey's longstanding rule precluding first year entrants from receiving the Top Rated designation. As Global Custodian points out, "The most lavish praise [from Atlantic clients themselves] is reserved for client service. [Atlantic] has attracted some prestigious accounts, but remains small enough to offer a bespoke service."
