Atif: 15000 new teachers appointed through NTS.

MINGORA -- Provincial Minister for Education Muhammad Atif Khan has said provincial government appointed 15000 new teachers in government schools through NTS and allocated Rs 17 billion for the renovation of education institutions in the province.
He said this while addressing to people on the inauguration of construction work of school in the Mankial area of Swat here on Monday with help of SDC. He added that provincial government was working for the promotion of education and for this purpose it introduces reforms in the education sectors in the province.
He added that provincial government was working as per the vision of Imran Khan for the development of education in the province. In the modern era education was must for the cohesive society, he added.
He added that provincial government encouraging the position holders students of boards by awarding them with cash prizes. He appreciated the role of SDC organization and Switzerland government for reconstructing the damaged schools in the flood of 2010.
Ambassador of Switzerland MR George said on the occasion that more than 200 schools were destroyed in Nowshera and Swat district and for this purpose SDC started five years project in which 32 schools were reconstructing completely and 60 were partially reconstructed in the Swat district for providing the better education environment to the students. He added that SDC provided better education facilities to three thousands female students and 12000 male students.
In the end school bags were distributed among the students and provincial minister announced to upgrade the Mankial school to Higher Secondary School and he formally inaugurated of it.
Meanwhile, five persons were injured in two separate traffic accidents in Shamozai area said police on Monday. Four persons identified Akhter Ali, Gul Bacha, Usman and Umer became injured when a dumper collided with mini truk at Shamozai area. The other accident was occurred when a speedy vegetable loaded truk plunged into the ravine and as driver Muhammad Rasool became injured. The all injured were rushed to nearby hospital where their situations were stated stable.
