Athletics: Denise is slammed.

OLYMPIC president Jacques Rogge has warned Denise Lewis that she is setting a bad example by her involvement with controversial coach Dr Ekkart Arbeit.

Arbeit, who masterminded the widespread doping of athletes in East Germany for almost 20 years, has declared himself clean now.

But Rogge attacked the Olympic heptathlon champion's association with Albeit when he said: "I speak as a sports lover and I think she's being so unwise.

"It's nothing to do with guilt, I am not even saying she will be more prone to take drugs because of him.

"But this is an association of an Olympic champion, an icon, with a man who has a reputation that's, what shall we say, not the best, and that's no good."
