Atambayev signs decree appointing 11 judges for interdistrict and Bishkek courts.

President Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree on appointment of judges for interdistrict courts in Osh, Jalal-Abad, Issyk-Kul, Naryn, Talas and Batken regions and the new candidate for the post of judge of the interdistrict court of the city of Bishkek.

The Council for Selection of Judges have earlier proposed 13 candidates for the appointment of judges for Osh, Jalal-Abad, Issyk-Kul, Naryn, Talas and Batken regions, and 3 candidates for judges in Chui region and Bishkek.

After studying the materials and taking into account the interviews with the candidates, the head of state approved 11 of them and signed several decrees.

The decrees approve 10 selected candidates for local courts. Since 25 May 2015, they've started performing their duties in accordance with the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan in interdistrict courts of the country's regions: Bakyt Sarybayev for Osh region; Nurila Kaipova and Bakytbek Majitov for Jalal-Abad region; Taalaibek Darkimbayev and Melis Tagayev for Issyk-Kul region; Makhabat Chagaldakova for Naryn region; Temirbek Ibraimov and Nurman Nartayev for Talas region; Melis Jamankulov and Tairbek Tulenbayev for Batken region.

Another decree appointed Kuralbek Abdykadyrov a judge of the interdistrict court in Bishkek.

In the future, the Council for Selection of Judges will introduce new candidates to replace the returned candidates.

Thus, judiciary of the interdistrict courts has been updated. The new composition holds 7 new judges, including 2 those who did not previously work in the judicial system.
