MILWAUKEE-BASED Hatco Corp. has redesigned its Booster water heaters to make them easier to service, which means lower service bills and shorter downtimes, according to the company.
Hatco's Compact series of boosters includes features such as low-water cutoff and control fuses, and the transformer is now located on a swing-away control panel, providing quick access to probes and heating elements.
Additional changes made to the unit include an ambient compensating thermostat that maintains the water rinse temperature in any dish-room environment, and an enhanced low-water probe design that's more resistant to false signals due to liming. Every Hatco Booster water heater is internally pre-plumbed, pre-wired, and individually calibrated for low-temp or high-temp applications.
The electric Booster water heaters feature a stainless steel front, a silver-gray hammertone body, a black base, six-inch (152-millimeter) legs, a pilot light, and an on/off switch. Each unit comes with "bumper to bumper" coverage for the first year, a 10-year tank warranty, and a lifetime jacket and base warranty. The Castone-lined steel tank is nontoxic and noncorrosive, meeting UL and NSF standards, notes Hatco.
More than 100 models and configurations of the water heater are available, with dozens ready for immediate shipment. For more information call (414) 671-6350 or visit www.hatcocorp.com.
