Asset management system.

Dallas-based AXCESS Inc. has introduced its ActiveTag Asset Management system. Building on the company's automatic identification and digital video technologies, this system can be added to the corporate network or Internet and integrated with existing burglar and surveillance systems. The system uses hands-free, wireless RFID tag technology to activate and identify tags at precise zone locations on the perimeter and throughout the facility. The long-range readers read the tag signals to locate or control an asset or person within a zone and monitors movement between zones. Digital video can be integrated on the network to automatically record a video snapshot of a tag read.
