Assembly Member-elect fetes widows.

Mr. Richard Nyarko, Assembly Member-elect for Deduako-Apemso electoral area in the Oforikrom Municipality, has donated items to 170 widows in his area of jurisdiction.

The donation, estimated to cost GHS12,000, comprises fowls and rice to enable them fully enjoy the Christmas festivities.

He plans to organise quiz programmes for school children in the electoral area, and share books and pencils to the over 700 children each year to supplement the government's free education policy.

The Assembly Member advised the youth to try and work hard to secure their future.

The immediate past Bishop of the Wenchi Diocese of the Methodist Church, now the minister for the Ayigya Circuit, Rev. Samuel Fred Ayensu, thanked the Assembly Member-elect for the support to the widows.
