Assalam-u-Alaikum everyone in Pakistan, says Virat Kohli.

Mumbai -- Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli, unarguably one of the best batsmen of present time, has recorded a video message congratulating Pakistani cricket legend Wasim Akram on launch of his perfume by J. Fragrances.

The Pakistani legend recently on his 50th birthday collaborated with Juniad Jamshed's lifestyle brand, J. Fragrances and launched his very own perfume '414' in honor of his 414 wickets in Test cricket.

Beginning the message with a warm 'Assalam-u-Alaikum everyone in Pakistan', Kohli went on heaping praise on Akram on his cricketing achievements and looking forward to the range of perfumes that was unveiled by the bowling great.

Aside the Indian superstar, spin great Shane Warne and Pakistan's T20 skipper Shahid Afridi have also posted video messages on social networking platforms through their respective accounts to congratulate Akram on the perfume launch.

During the star-studden launching ceremony, Mohammed Ali Mufti, the head of sales and marketing at J. Fragrances, said: Wasim Akram is the the highest wicket taker in test cricket for Pakistan, having taken 414 wickets in 104 matches; We thought it would make for the perfect name for the perfume.

Mufti further added, He is a legend in all aspects - He's a great sportsman but has also maintained the image of a responsible family man and that's why we decided to pay tribute to him in this way.
