Aslan Fictional character, a wise and noble lion in Chronicles of Narnia, The series of children's fantasy books by C.S. Lewis. Aslan is the powerful and loving protector of Narnia, a fictional land he created with his musical voice. A symbol of Jesus Christ, he enlists children from the real world in his battle against evil, sacrifices himself and is resurrected, and returns to lead his chosen followers into heaven after bringing Narnia to an apocalyptic end.
