Ask Nadia.

Can you give me a recipe for a really easy posh salad. I'm cooking a meal for my girlfriend's sister and want to impress her!

Thank you so much. Joshua, by email Aww, what a honey you are, Joshua! Try this easy- peasy salad. Honestly, my six- year-old can make it, so you won't be able to mess it up hopefully!

120g Roquefort, Dolcelatte or Stilton cheese 4 perfectly ripe pears (it's important they're just right) 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (try to get the best you can) 2 tbsp hazelnut oil Slice the cheese nice and thinly (if you are buying it from the deli, you could ask them to do this for you).

Next, quarter the pears, remove the cores and slice them, lengthwise thinly. Arrange the cheese and pear slices on a pretty plate.

Mix the vinegar and oil together and then drizzle it over the top.

Put some black pepper on the table, as some may like a twist or two.
