Ashland introduce innovative technologies.

New ingredients to improve mouthfeel, dairy protein stabilization, thermal gelation and flavour encapsulation were introduced by Ashland Aqualon Functional Ingredients (AAFI) at the Food Ingredients Europe 2009 expo.

New patent-pending technologies for easy dispersion and rapid hydration of cellulosic polymers were also featured. AAFI, a world leader in cellulosic food ingredients, will showcase Aqualon[R] and Blanose[R] cellulose gum (CMC), Benecel[R] methylcellulose (MC) and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC), Klucel[R] and AeroWhip[R] hydrosypropylcellulose (HFC), and Supercol[R] guar gum.
