Asbury acquisition.

A national automotive concern put together 4.5 acres in North Little Rock in deals totaling more than $2.3 million.

Asbury Automotive Arkansas Dealership assembled the property in deals involving $1.5 million for the 2.4-acre Frank Fletcher Chrysler Jeep location at 4313 Landers Road owned by Fletcher Realty LLC, led by Frank Fletcher; $772,000 for 2 acres on Smokey Lane owned by L&S Concrete Co., led by Charles Weaver; and $75,000 for a 0.15-acre parcel owned by Joe Edd Hawkins.

Fletcher acquired his property for $850,000 in April 1998 from Joe and Jane Hawkins. The project previously was linked with an April 1998 mortgage of $865,000 held by Little Rock's First Commercial Bank.

L&S purchased its property for $18,000 in February 1972 from Reed McConnell Inc. Hawkins bought his property in April 1985 as part of a $380,000 deal with the North Little Rock Lodge No. 942 of the Loyal Order of Moose Inc.
