Asadullah Abro remembered, glowing tributes paid by speakers.

Pakistan Intellectual Forum (PIF) arranged a reference in memory of The late Asadullah Abro , a man of many talents who passed away a few years ago, in the Common Hall of Writers ' Guest House of Pakistan Academy of Letters on Sunday , in which a great number of men of Letters, writers , researchers, intellectuals, politicians, students, among others, participated and paid glowing tributes to him. Mrs. Mena Asad was the chief guest in this reference. Those who shed light on the life and life achievements of this rare son of Jeejal Sindh were Khadim Hussain Soomro , Engr.Momin Ali Shah, Mir Mukhtiar Talpur , Fazal Karim Mangi, Gul Muhammad Rahoojo, Raja Shiraz Ahmed Janjua advocate, among others.

While reciting Surah Fatiha and Surah Ikhlas for the departed soul , all eyes were heavy for years.

Speaking on the ocassion, noted writer , researcher and author , Mr. Khadim Hussain Soomro said that Asad was really a man of good and enviable manners.

'He was down to earth and also lord in his manners in the true sense,' he maintained.

Engr.Momin Ali Shah said that Asad was Generous and a man with wonderful humour in his person. Prominent broadcaster and social scientist Mir Mukhtiar Talpur shared his days and nights spent with him and termed him as his mentor , his guide and elder brother like .

'Asad was a Qalandar type of man and civil servant. Love for Humanity was in his blood and genes,' he remarked.

Fazal Karim Mangi said that Asad contributed a lot for the betterment of the poor , destitute and denied.

'Persons like Asad become the greatest asset to any nation like us' he commented.

Raja Shiraz Ahmed Janjua Advocate said that the late Asad was a great man, a wonderful intellect and a great soul.

Gul Muhammad Rahoojo stated that in his all capacities, in particular, as an enlightened individual and a senior bureaucrat and also a true lover of his Motherland he was at his best and did his best for the country and his countrymen .

Veteran politician Abdul Majeed Kanju said that good people die everyday. Yet not all of them affirm for us the goodness in humanity the way the Late Asad did

Speaking on the occasion , Mrs Mena Asad said that Asad was a man who gave his whole life to service of others. He touched hundreds of thousands of lives and whatever I am today and whatever my children are today they are because of Asad.

'Before Asad and after Asad, I have never seen any man like him in this world,' she remarked in her emotionally charged voice. Hashim Abro of PIF conducted the proceedings of this memorial reference and said his focus Jeejal Sindh and this country well beloved He was a giant of a man and he was father figure for many in this land .Legendary figures like Asad never die because they are housed in hearts.
