Christmas Cookie Sale: St. Marys Cenacle Guild will host the annual Christmas Cookie Sale from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, or until sold out. The annual fundraiser is held at St. Marys Novak Center, 123 S. County Line Road in Maple Park. Choose your own homemade cookies for $7 per pound. Advance orders for assorted cookies may be placed until Thursday, Dec. 14. For information or advance orders, call Anne at St. Marys of Maple Park at (815) 827-3302.

Cookie Walk/Winter Bazaar: Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake invites the community to a Cookie Walk and Winter Bazaar from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the church, 5N600 Hanson Road in St. Charles.

Fill a box with cookies; it will be sold by size, you must be able to close the top.

Get some Christmas shopping done with various vendors.

Get a photo with Santa. Kids can do ornament crafts while you shop or enjoy the hot cocoa bar.

The church is north of Route 64 and east of Route 47, just off Empire Road in St. Charles.

Holiday Cookie Walk: Immanuel United Church of Christ, 1500 Old Church Road in Streamwood, invites the community to a Holiday Cookie Walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. There will be homemade cookies (including kolacky) and other treats made by members and friends of Immanuel UCC. Cost is $8 per pound. Holiday Arts, Crafts and Vintage Market: Swell gallery, 123 1/2 W. Main St. in West Dundee, is hosting its ninth annual Holiday Arts, Crafts and Vintage Market. It ends the weekend before Christmas, Sunday, Dec. 17.

Come in to shop small, local and handmade, to learn a new skill or craft some handmade gifts, and more. Register for the Do-It-Yourself Christmas Ornaments for adults Dec. 17. There also will be a drop-in program: Do-It-Yourself Christmas Ornaments for kids Dec. 17.

Gifts of the World Holiday Open Houses: The fair trade store will host its annual open house sale from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, through Dec. 23, at the store, 888 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. There will be handmade gifts, Nativities, jewelry, home decor, coffee, chocolate, pottery, sculptures, instruments, wall hangings, scarves, artwork. Gift certificates available.
