Arthur R. Picard.

UXBRIDGE - Arthur R. Picard, 73, of Uxbridge died Sat. March 16, 2013 in Memorial Hospital, Worcester. He was the husband of Alice M. (Boisvert) Picard.

Mr. Picard was employed as a tool maker and machine erector for the Neles - Jamesbury Co. in Worcester for 33 years before retiring in 2002.

He was born Aug. 17, 1939 in Worcester, the son of the late Edward F. and Agnes M. (Hannigan) Picard and was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade High School.

Mr. Picard enjoyed bowling, golf, chocolate, table hockey, and a "Jim Dandy" from Friendly's Ice Cream. He also loved playing solitaire.

In addition to his wife Alice of 52 years, he is survived by his children; Lisa R. Picard of Uxbridge, Tina M. Mikhael of Douglas, David J. and his wife Christine Picard of Framingham, and Patricia A. and her husband Peter Limosani of Wallingford, CT; his siblings; Janet Dunlop and Marie Marin, both of Worcester, and Ray Picard of FL; 7 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.
