Artesian Water Company, a subsidiary of Artesian Resources Corporation (Nasdaq: ARTNA), has completed nine projects in New Castle County and Sussex County, Delaware.

The company has invested around USD5m in eight water main replacements and a new installation. The projects have resulted in the installation of 35,000 feet, or nearly seven miles, of water main and specifically were Townsend to Old State Road, Duross Heights, Klair Estates, Swanwyck, Meadow Road, Old Harmony Road, Centreville Road, Limestone Road and Old Milltown Road.

John Thaeder, senior vice president, said, 'In order to ensure our customers receive the highly reliable service they expect, Artesian undertook the nine projects over the course of 4 months. With the design work completed, the approvals obtained from various state agencies, and with the contractors assigned, the projects proceeded on course.'
