Art continuum; Opening at Sprinkler Factory.

COLUMN: TEN THINGS TO DO

Expand your visual horizons with a new show at the Sprinkler Factory, 38 Harlow St., Worcester. An opening reception for "Expanding Continuum," a group exhibition of painting and sculpture, will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Sept. 8. Music will be provided by Industrial Sonic Echo and ii nub. Participating artists are J-me Johnston and Richard Goulis, founders of the legendary (or should we say notorious) Worcester Artists Group, Scott Boilard, Luis Fraire, Randal Gardner, David Madsen, Joey Mars, J R Ringdahl and Joshua Swalec. The show runs through Sept. 30. Gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment (call Johnston at (508) 294-5838). A show and sale of small works will be held during the opening reception and also from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 22.
