Art & Soul on the Fox.
The 11th annual Art & Soul on the Fox will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3-4, along Riverside Drive and inside Dream Hall, 51 S. Grove Ave. in downtown Elgin. Admission is free. Featuring more than 70 juried artists and artisans in canvas, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, and mixed media. Ongoing musical entertainment on the south end of Riverside Drive Promenade provided by local talent Nicholas Metzger. Photographer Doug Hanson will be offering the chance to sit for a tintype photograph on the south promenade extension. Leah McClosky will offer "Heavenly Henna" on the north promenade extension.
