Arrow Electronics Delivers New Functionality to Sun Service Center on Vortex.
The enhancements include an online budgetary quoting tool and a tool for automated delivery of booking packages. Vortex was designed to provide MOCA Division partners with the necessary functionality to successfully manage and drive better efficiencies for their growing Sun Service businesses.
"Our team has listened closely to our customers to better understand what tools and requirements are most valuable for their business needs," stated Bill Page, executive vice president, MOCA Division. "These latest Vortex advancements in the Sun Service Center deliver a robust and unparalleled value-add to our customers and help them increase business efficiency."
The new Vortex functionalities include:
--Budgetary Online Quoting Tool: Enables resellers to manage and run their own quotes while also allowing customers to process multiple quote scenarios.
--Automated Delivery of Contract Booking Packages: Ability to process Sun Services contracts and bookings real-time, expediting overall accuracy and cycle speed while greatly reducing turnaround time.
--Quote Tracking Tool: Recently, significant updates to MOCA's Quote Tracking Tool, located in the Services Center of Vortex, allow partners to more efficiently manage quote requests for Sun Services transactions.
"The MOCA Division has been instrumental in helping us grow our service business," said Mardi Norman, president, Dynamic Systems. "If they hadn't had the foresight to begin developing Vortex prior to the influx of new partner business, it would have been very difficult for us to grow our service business."
"Thanks to the ongoing commitment from Arrow, our customers are seeing substantial improvements to their business processes," said Don Grantham, senior vice president, global customer services, Sun. "We are very supportive of the Vortex offering and its continued benefits to Sun and its iForce Partners."
