Arriva Card Now Offers Instant Underwriting of Credit at Casinos.

Casinos Can Arrange for up to $20,000 of Credit to Responsible Gaming Customers on the Spot - at no Risk to the Casino

Casinos Themselves no Longer Need to Extend House Credit to Selected Customers; Less Work for Casinos, and Turnaround Time is Reduced from Several Hours to Just Minutes

LAS VEGAS -- Arriva Card (, the first credit card specifically for use in casinos, now offers Instant Underwriting of Credit. With this new capability, casino credit desks, cages, hosts and other personnel can arrange for Arriva cards to be issued instantly for customers seeking credit to play.

The casino completes the application for the customer through Arriva's online proprietary scoring engine, and within minutes, the customer, if approved, gets an Arriva card with up to $20,000 of credit. The customer has immediate access to the full credit line at the casino.

Arriva has the capability and access to a database of millions of casino patrons to help with a big part of this business. We can take applications and instantly provide Arriva cards to qualified responsible gaming customers on the spot - with no credit risk to the casino. Importantly, the customer can use it right away, whereas extending house credit often takes several hours. Casinos are responding enthusiastically to the Instant Credit service, according to Mr. Smith. After just 3 weeks of introduction more than 23 casinos are taking advantage of this new program including well recognized names like Atlantic City Hilton; The Borgata; Trump Taj Mahal; Casino Morongo; Sycuan Resort and Casino; Caesars Atlantic City, and Las Vegas Hilton.

Arriva cards give responsible gaming patrons with strong credit and in-casino cash advance histories more access to cash - and at better terms - than they'd typically have with traditional credit cards.

Introduced this summer to seasoned casino customers with prime credit ratings and track records of responsible use of cash advances in casinos, Arriva has met with significant demand. With just a few weeks in the marketplace and only limited marketing outreach, transactions have exceeded $5 million.

"Traditional credit cards penalize customers for cash advances - even if those cash advances occur within a casino. Most credit cards charge higher rates for cash advances than they charge for retail purchases; begin charging interest immediately after the transaction (as opposed to giving a grace period like with retail purchases); don't give reward points for cash advances; restrict cash advances to only a portion of the credit line; and generally don't apply monthly payments against cash advance transactions until the retail purchase balance is paid off.

Arriva takes a different approach. Arriva Card:

* Offers a true grace period on cash advances.

* Gives reward points for cash advances - unlike typical credit cards.

* Allows cash advances of the entire Arriva Card credit line.

* Charges lower fees and interest rates on cash advances than many credit cards.
