CIBS Breakfast

Mar. 18: CIBS will host a breakfast meeting beginning at 8:00 a.m. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. The event will conclude at 9:30 a.m. Scott Rechler, CEO and chairman of RXR Realty, will address the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society on mixed-use development, the Long Island office market, residential development, acquisitions and RXR's NYC portfolio. CREW Networking

Mar. 19: CREW New York, the professional organization for New York City women in real estate, is holding a discovery event for those interested in a CREW New York membership. Agent Day

Mar. 19: The annual Staten Island Agent Day and Trade Show presented by the Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR) will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomfield, Staten Island. NAIOP Meeting

Mar. 24: NAIOP New Jersey March Chapter Meeting will provide a forum for the challenges of finding new uses for the state's outdated and under-utilized suburban office spaces, and local officials' efforts to create the live/work/play environments that attract and retain employers and the young talent they need. Apr. 1: A top FBI terrorism expert will discuss preparedness for Active Shooter situations at an April 1 networking breakfast of the Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG), the 350-member philanthropic and networking organization. Landmarks Exhibition

April 21: The Museum of the City of New York presents SAVING PLACE: 50 Years of New York City Landmarks, an exhibition exploring the roots and impact of a landmark preservation movement. The exhibition will close on September 13, 2015.

Market Trends Conference

April 29: The William Newman Department of Real Estate presents: "Global Real Estate Markets: Trends and Opportunities," a half-day conference when major international real estate investors, developers, and academic researchers will assess recent and future trends and examine the risks in global real estate investing. Charity Gala

Apr. 30: Rebuilding Together NYC (RT NYC) 2015 Coming Home Gala will be held on from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Yale Club in midtown Manhattan. George Oliphant, host of NBC's hit show George to the Rescue will serve as Master of Ceremony for the event honoring Meredith Corporation Vice Chairperson Mell Meredith Frazier, and Shawmut Design and Construction president Les Hiscoe.

The Coming Home Gala celebrates the philanthropic work of its honorees in New York City and throughout the country. The evening will include cocktails and dinner along with both a silent and a live auction.
