Army establishes effective medical support system for Dengue patients.

LAHORE, October 07, 2011 (Balochistan Times): Pakistan Army has established an effective medical support system for relief of Dengue affected patients in Lahore Cantonment and its surrounding areas, while the military doctors are rendering selfless services to the general public by working round the clock at 12 free medical camps According to handout issued here on Thursday, the Army doctors during the last three weeks have extended medical support to 119,234 patients and conducted blood-screening test of 88,489 persons, while 4,955 confirmed cases of dengue were provided free medical treatment at CMH and medical camps. A large number of them have been discharged from hospital after complete recovery. The administration of Lahore Garrison has also undertaken a massive fogging and fumigation campaign against eradication of dengue in Cantonment and its adjoining suburban areas.
