Armenia coach delighted with a draw.

ARMENIA coach Varoujan Sukiasyan said he was delighted to hold a Wales side containing Ryan Giggs, writes Phil Blanche.

The small former Soviet Union republic was united in disappointment last March when Giggs missed the 2-2 draw in Yerevan through injury.

And Sukiasyan could not disguise his delight that players drawn from clubs like Mika Ashtarak and Pyunik Yerevan had held Wales at their Millennium Stadium home.

"I'm pleased with the draw because the Armenian team is not professional and we don't have players like Giggs, " said Sukiasyan.

"Some of our players are in the Russian leagues but they don't play for the best teams.

"Our players are not so professional and not so experienced, so we must be happy with a draw."
