Armenia and Romania to cooperate in studies of Armenian cultural heritage in Romania.

Yerevan. Armenia and Romania are effectively cooperating in implementation of educational reforms, Armenian Minister of

Education and Science Armen Ashotyan said during a meeting with his Romanian counterpart. To recall, in July 2013 Armenia assumed

the Bologna Secretariat Chairmanship from Romania. Ashotyan said that Romania's experience was very useful for Armenia. The sides

discussed Armenian-Romanian cooperation in the field of education and pointed out the importance of development of relations between

the two countries' universities. Minister Ashotyan suggested joint implementation of research programs to study the Armenian cultural

heritage in Romania.

The meeting also covered issues related to promotion of programs jointly implemented by the Yerevan State University and the

universities of Bucharest, bilateral student projects and promotion of the cooperation in the field of education.
