Armenia : The TRACECA IGC annual meeting will be held in Yerevan.

The 13th TRACECA IGC annual meeting will be held on the 5-6th of March, 2018, in Yerevan, under the Chairmanship of Armenia. Armenia has been the member of TRACECAs projects since 1993. Last time it was held in Armenia in 2003.

High level officials of over 13 countries participating in the TRACECA program, Embassies of TRACECA member-countries in Armenia, representatives of TRACECA IGC permanent secretariat and international organizations, as well as high-level officials from the European Commission will attend the event to be held in Yerevan. During the session it is envisaged to approve the TRACECA Master Plan and Action Plan for the implementation of the Europe-Asia-Caucasus International Transport Corridor Development Strategy for the Intergovernmental Commission for 2016-2026. It is also planned to approve the development roadmap along the Europe-Asia-Caucasus International Transport Corridor for a five-year period. At the same time, the Intergovernmental Commission will approve the Action Plan for the development of the increasing the competitiveness of routes and further improvement of international road transportation. During the session it is planned to hold the elections of the secretary general of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission, discuss issues related to financing, as well as the next 14th session.
