Armenia's foreign minister visits UN office in Yerevan.

Yerevan. Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian visited the UN office in Yerevan, 18 October.

As press-service of the Ministry reported, Nalbandian and Resident Coordinator Bradley Busetoo opened a renovated

conference hall.

After the ceremony, he met with the Resident Coordinator, the heads of UN agencies and departments in Armenia, to discuss

the projects that have been implemented in Armenia over 20 years. Minister Nalbandian stressed that Armenia is one of the active UN

members and is expanding its involvement in cooperation and work of the UN every year. He highly appreciated the UNDP, and other

UN agencies' assistance to Armenia. He presented the results of his meeting with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in New York.

The participants exchanged views on UN's possible participation in assistance provided to Syrian Armenians.
