Armageddon it; End of the World Party.

Byline: Victor D. Infante

COLUMN: TEN THINGS TO DO

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We know that Dec. 21 is the last day of the 13th b'ak'tun, thought by some to be the last day of the fourth world and - to some - the day of the Mayan Apocalypse. (Also - and probably not coincidentally - the day is the end of time according to pop-psychedelic author Terrence McKenna, but we're getting adrift here.) In any case, whether the world's ending or not, probably best to go out with a handful of the region's best bands playing. The End of the World Party, featuring The Numbskulls, Ten Foot Polecats, Kermit's Finger, The Pity Whores and Secret Evil Plan will be held at 9 p.m. Dec. 21 at Ralph's Chadwick Square Diner, 148 Grove St., Worcester.
