Aridi: Islam exonerated of terrorism.

Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ghazi Aridi, stressed on Friday "Islam is exonerated of terrorism."

"We stanchly rebuff to link Islam to terrorism for Islam is crimeless," he said.

Greeting the Lebanese in general and Christians in particular, Minister Aridi struck a downbeat note with respect to Christians in Iraq, who cancelled their Christmas celebrations due to constant menaces and jeopardy.

Accordingly, Aridi slammed the world silence as to massacres committed against the heartrending Iraqis.

The Minister also shed light on the stiff conditions overweighing Palestinians in the occupied territories.

"These are the upshots of the US policyC*we must not link the presence and the fate of Christians in the region to the policy of the West," he warned.

On a different note, Minister Aridi convened on Friday with a delegation of tourism and travel agencies' owners with talks featuring high on a spectrum of relevant affairs.
