Argentina's central bank has said that it will immediately end its foreign exchange controls.

The central bank said that it would end the controls that had helped to prop up the currency for the last four years.

Ordinary citizens will be restricted on the amount of dollars they can buy a month for a limited period. The central bank said that the government is moving ahead with measures aimed at growing the economy.
