RINGSIDE tickets for the blockbuster rematch between Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew at the Liverpool ECHO Arena on Saturday are selling for up to PS2,500 on online ticket sites.
The bitter rivals are locking horns in a hotly-anticipated rematch of their 2011 clash, which Cleverly won on points.
All 10,000 tickets for the November 22 showdown sold out in less than 48 hours, making it one of the fastest selling events ECHO Arena has hosted.
Join the on our Facebook page face com/poolecho But it means fans hoping to catch the WBO World Light Heavyweight "grudge match" between Liverpool boxer Tony Bellew and Welshman Nathan Cleverly are now having to pay hugely inflated prices for tickets from third party sellers on the web.
For example, a premium ticket and meal package, including a VIP pass, from viagogo will cost PS2,500, plus a booking fee of PS375. Other ringside seats are available for between PS1,000 and PS2,000.
Prices decrease for seats further away from the ring block, but fans still face parting with several hundred pounds.
The top price charged by the ECHO Arena for the event was PS160.
theliver The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Box Office, charging viewers PS16.95, on top of their standard subscription. The undercard to Bellew's bout with Cleverly includes two world title fights, super-middleweights Callum Smith, James DeGale and George Groves and heavyweight hope Anthony Joshua.
