Arcus animates Argentina.
A TYNESIDE animation studio that has worked with some of the biggest UK television companies has opened an office in Argentina in an attempt to target a new market.
Arcus Animation Studios has opened its first overseas office in Buenos Aires, which has become a growing hub for animation companies.
Arcus specialises in 2D animation and has carried out with major broadcasters such as CBBC and E4. It has also created a range of video installations for outdoor events in the region.
The new office has been designed to help the firm break into the South American market.
The Argentinian office will be run by University of Sunderland graduates Rosario Rivas Leal and Vylius Leonavi. The duo have worked with Arcus in the UK for a number of years and will now use their experience to create animations for use in marketing campaigns, apps, games, children's content and live installations.
The Arcus team has also worked on the Changing Health diabetes app.
