Archer in TV killing.

DISGRACED Tory Lord Archer has done a six-figure deal to swap his West End flop The Accused to TV and internet.

As in his stage portrayal of a man accused of killing his wife, TV viewers and web users will get the chance to vote on his guilt or innocence.

MMTV chief Mike Mansfield, who signed the worldwide rights contract, said: "Lord Archer will earn a slice of the phone calls or internet charge every time someone votes. It's a good deal for him."

Archer will appear at the Old Bailey next month charged with perjury during a 1987 libel trial.
