Arab League Council Concludes A Meeting At the Level of Permanent Delegates.

Cairo, Shawwal 16, 1433, Sep 3, 2012, SPA -- The Arab League Council concluded here today activities of its 138th session at the level of permanent delegates.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting was led by Saudi Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom's permanent representative to the Arab League Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan.

In a joint news conference with Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the Arab League Ambassador Khalid Zeeyadh at the end of meetings today, the Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Ahmed Ben Helli said the Arab League Council discussed today 22 items listed on the agenda.

He pointed out that the issue of developments in Syria will be tackled by the Arab ministerial committee assigned to follow up the situation in Syria headed by Qatar in its meeting scheduled on Wednesday.
