Arab Insurance Conference gets underway at Dead Sea.

Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Samir Rifai on Monday opened the 28th General Arab Insurance Conference on the Dead Sea shores.

The three-day event brings together 1,600 insurance experts from 46 countries to discuss a wide range of issues including the latest developments in the insurance industry and its role in the overall Arab development.

The conference attracts brokers, agents, loss adjustors, lawyers, insurance regulatory bodies, representatives of many financial services institutions and other experts in the insurance and reinsurance industry from across the globe and allows them to keep abreast of the latest news and industry trends emerging from the Middle East and North Africa MENA region.

The conference is organized by the General Arab Insurance Federation in cooperation with Jordan Insurance Federation.
