April is Records and Information Management Month.

Professionals worldwide will celebrate Records and Information Management Month (RIMM) during April 2003. This month will be used by both members and chapters to promote the importance of records management throughout the world. It provides a great opportunity for members to celebrate for one full month the value of information to business, government, and organizations worldwide. The chapter RIMM guide is available online to chapter presidents.

As a part of the celebration, ARMA International and the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) will jointly promote and host Personal Information Privacy (PIP) Day on April 26, 2003. This special event will help educate and protect consumers from identity theft. More details are available at www.arma.org/ resources/rimm. Keep checking this site for updates and ideas for next year's RIMM, including tools to help you promote RIM in your organization, chapter, and community.
