Appraisal Institute announces four vice president candidates. (Industry and Institute News).
The National Nominating Committee of the Appraisal Institute has received four names for the position of 2003 Vice President: Bruce A. Kellogg, MAI, of Atlanta, Ga.; Richard F. Odom, Jr., MAI, SRA, of Rock Hill, S.C.; Richard D. Powers, MAI, SRA, of Keene, N.H.; and R. Wayne Pugh, SRPA, of Baton Rouge, La. Full biographies of all are available on the members only side of the Appraisal Institute Web site, at www.appraisalinstitute.org.They will be interviewed by the Nominating Committee at the Appraisal Institute Summer Conference in Hawaii on July 8. The Nominating Committee will then make its recommendation to the Board of Directors at its Board meeting the following week and the formal election of the 2003 vice president will take place during the Fall meeting of the Board in Chicago. The 2003 vice president becomes part of the national officer chain when sworn in at the Fall Meetings and will serve as President-elect in 2004 and President in 2005.
