Apply Now for All-America City Competition.

The National Civic League and Allstate Insurance Company are accepting applications for the year 2000 All-America City Award, which honors communities in which citizens, government, business and voluntary organizations collaborate to address critical local issues.

"The award ... reinvigorates a community's sense of civic pride," said National Civic League President Christopher Gates.

"And most importantly, All-America Cities can teach and inspire communities throughout the nation who are struggling with similar difficult local issues."
