Apple's new offerings.

From Apple comes Xsan, a Storage Area Network field system for users who require high-speed access to centralized shared data in broadcast and high performance computing environments. Xsan enables users to consolidate storage resources and provide multiple computers with concurrent file-level read/write access to shared volumes over Fibre Channel. Pricing for Xsan is $999 per client and per server. Apple also introduced its upgraded Xserve G5, which is ideal for everything from file and print serving to computational clusters.
