Appellate pro bono award created.
The Appellate Practice Section is now accepting applications for its First Annual Appellate Practice Section Pro Bono Award.The award to be given to a member of the section who has devoted significant pro bono efforts in appellate matters, The appellate pro bono matter may involve civil, criminal or family law.
A plaque will be presented to the winner at the section's annual dessert reception at The Florida Bar Annual Meeting in Boca Raton in June.
Nominations for the newly created pro bono award should be submitted in writing, explaining the basis for your nomination, to: Austin Newberry, Appellate Practice Section administrator, 650 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee 32399-2300, phone (850) 561-5624.
