Appeal after OAP robbed in her home.

POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at the home of an elderly woman in south Belfast.

The woman was at her home in Loughview Road on Friday when two men forced their way into the property by a back door.

Both men claimed to be police officers, when they were confronted by the woman.

As they began rummaging through her belongings, she left through the front door to raise the alarm.

The burglars made off through the back door with a sum of cash.
