Appalling hypocrisy.

SIR - I have to say I was appalled at the level of hypocrisy bandied about by Sue Essex in your paper.

As civil service workers took the difficult decision to strike against the Labour Government's decision to slash around 10,000 jobs in Wales, the Labour Finance Minister was pledging her backing to the strikers.

How dare she use the plight of those people, whose jobs are on the chopping block as a result of her party's 'efficiency' programme, to get her name in the paper?

She should be disgusted at the actions of Gordon Brown and the Labour Party. It is always the case that when something goes wrong they are Welsh Labour working against the UK Government.

However, when it comes to election funding they run straight back to their masters with their begging bowl!
