Aplix and Rococo team to develop new Java mobile solution.

An agreement has been formed between wireless Java infrastructure software and tools supplier Rococo Software and mobile Java technology company Aplix Corp that will see both companies combining their products.

Rococo will integrate its standards-based Java/Bluetooth technology support with the JBlend platform from Aplix. The combination will reportedly enable mobile phone manufacturers to implement a solution for Java/Bluetooth technology support in Aplix's JBlend Java virtual machine environment.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
