Anthrax expert tells all.
Dr Aileen Marty delivered a lecture on the future of bio-warfare and bio-terrorism to students and staff at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
The assistant professor of emerging infections and pathology at the Edward Herbert School of Medicine, in Maryland, USA, said: "I was working at the highest level on the anthrax cases in America.
"In previous years, we were more naive and didn't realise that people did actually want to use bio-terrorism. I think we are lot more clued-up now."
