Anthony Howitt Lecture 2011.

CIMA's Anthony Howitt Lecture 2011 will take place on May 18 at 6.30pm in London. Wim A. Van der Stede, CIMA professor of accounting and financial management, will deliver an address titled "Global governance: time for a behavioural revolution".

The lecture will urge far-ranging changes in the behavioural norms that relate to risk management, governance and incentives. If the world is to avert further corporate crises, it needs less "bureaucratisation" and more shared and personal accountability in risk management, Professor Van der Stede will argue.

The lecture will be available globally via a live webcast. A panel will take questions from online viewers during the event.

Visit www.cimaglobal.com/global governance to sign up. Also, if you can't watch the live webcast, it will be available on demand post-event.
